Daniel Frajman is a partner at the Montreal law firm of Spiegel Sohmer Attorneys, where he has practiced since 1995 in the areas of not-for-profit/charity law/private and public foundations, trusts, estates and estate planning, and in commercial law relating to private mergers and acquisitions, business financing and real estate and other contractual matters.  Daniel believes in giving back and serves on several community boards and committees, and is the immediate past Chair of the Montreal Branch of STEP, a member of the Steering Committee of the STEP Worldwide Philanthropy Advisors Special Interest Group, a member of the STEP Canada National Trust and Estate Technical Committee, and a guest lecturer in charity, trust and corporate law at the McGill University Faculty of Law.  Daniel is a member of the Bar of Quebec, the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association (Wills/Estates/Trusts, Charities and Not-For-Profit Law, Business Law and Real Property sections) and the American Bar Association (Non-Profit Organizations and Business Law sections).
