Bart Verdickt co-leads the estate planning and family property law department at CAZIMIR. He focusses particularly on the European Succession Regulation, international estate planning, immigration and emigration. His everyday experience enables him to offer practical and efficient solutions. He is a lawyer at the Brussels Bar.

Bart has a degree in law and a master in notarial law, both degrees that he earned at the University of Leuven. He was an assistant at the Institute for Family Property Law of the same university for many years. Bart is Dutch-speaking, but also speaks French and English.

Bart works for the 'People and Wealth' department at the University of Antwerp, publishes in leading journals and books and regularly gives lectures. He is also a member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), the International Bar Association (IBA) and the International Fiscal Association (IFA). He is a certified member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).
